Our ongoing, outstanding commitment to training was recognized this year by the Lübeck Chamber of Industry and Commerce with their Training Award. The criteria for this award are many years of training at high competence level, above-average examination results and a sustainable training concept. The company’s contact with students and schools, regular appearance at job fairs and the offer of internships are further requirements for the award. Furthermore, our company is exemplary in taking on trainees from other companies that do not thrive and not offered as good training opportunities.
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s General Manager Lars Schöning, Division Manager for Training and Further Education Sebastian Grothkopp, Division Manager for Innovation and Environment Sabine Hackenjos, Division Manager for Media and Communication Can Özren and also an intern from the Media and Communication Division attended the award ceremony. On behalf of claus rodenberg waldkontor gmbh, Nancy Köhler, Constanze Behm and Eva Schöttler accepted this award on August 18th, 2022 and took the opportunity to introduce the company in our seven training areas. One focus was the importance and challenge of training our future skilled workers, but also the difficulty of getting young people interested in and getting training.
The award was presented in the form of a certificate, a plaque and a glass body. We are proud of the external appreciation, but even more proud of being able to offer our trainees a training position of such high quality anda positive environment, as is confirmed again and again.
