At the beginning of September, our Millerntor set off for the North Sea to Husum to have her regular “ship TÜV” renewed just in time for her 20th birthday.
In three work-intensive weeks, everyone involved gave full steam and worked through the long to-do lists.
Among other things, the now legally required ballast water treatment system was installed in the engine room, including many meters of new pipes and cables, small and large steel repairs were carried out, two new anchor chains were installed and a new coat of paint was applied.
Before we headed back towards the Baltic Sea, we were able to take the opportunity to do a small photo shoot with photographer Patrick Ludolph which lead to capturing some great impressions.
